30% Merlot
30% Cabernet Franc
10% Petit Verdot

Tasting Note:
Heady aromas of melted licorice, violets, plum compote and very ripe cassis berries explode from the glass. This 2007 tastes very Californian compared to the more restrained 2006. The merlot component currently dominates the weight and mouth-feel of this wine, while the Cabernet Franc & Sauvignon highlight the aromas and tannins. Spicy aromas from the Darnajou Oak aging enrich the exotic spice and texture while giving the wine a seamless and somewhat heady finish
